As part of the process of international harmonization of the analytical methods of monographs and general chapters of the European, Japanese, and United States pharmacopeias, USP General Chapter <621> “Chromatography” was recently revised. This harmonization involved revisions to some definitions and calculations of common parameters and some generally applicable requirements for system suitability. Join us for an interactive session that will address changes to S/N calculation, system sensitivity and peak symmetry, and on how these revisions of definitions and calculations are conveyed in Empower CDS.
